At Hjort & Frøik, we take the protection of personal data seriously. On this page, you can read how we process personal data in connection with your visit to our website and when you contact us.

Processing of personal data

We only process personal data when necessary and always in accordance with applicable data protection legislation (GDPR).

We do not collect personal data for marketing, profiling, or resale purposes.

Statistics

We use anonymous and privacy-friendly statistics to gain insight into how our website is used. The information cannot be used to identify you as an individual and is used solely to improve content and user experience.

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the proper functioning of the website, as well as cookies for anonymous statistics.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings on the website.

Unsolicited CVs and Personal Data

We do not accept or process unsolicited CVs, job applications, or other personal data from individuals.

If we receive unsolicited CVs or personal data without prior consent or a specific agreement, the material will be deleted without further processing.
This is done to protect personal data and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

Processing of Personal Data in Connection with Recruitment and Consulting Services

In connection with our consulting services for companies and organisations – including recruitment, leadership assessments, team analyses and organisational development – we process personal data relating to candidates and employees.

What data do we process?

The processing may include:

  • Name and contact details
  • Information regarding professional experience and qualifications
  • Test responses and test results (e.g. the NEO-PI-3 personality assessment)
  • Professional evaluations and notes prepared by our consultants

Personality assessments are used as one element in an overall professional evaluation.

Purpose

The purpose of the processing is to conduct a professional and well-founded assessment in connection with recruitment or development processes.

Legal basis

The processing is based on our clients’ and our legitimate interest in carrying out a relevant and objective assessment of candidates and employees, pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

No decisions are made solely on the basis of automated processing.

To the extent that a test by its nature may touch upon matters that could be considered special categories of personal data, such information is processed exclusively in an occupational psychology context and not for the purpose of clinical diagnosis.

Data processor

We use Hogrefe Psykologisk Forlag A/S as our data processor in connection with the administration, scoring and storage of test data in the Hogrefe Test System (HTS).

Data is hosted within the EU (Germany).

Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the stated purpose and in accordance with agreements with our client and applicable law. Thereafter, the data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we process about you and to have it corrected or deleted if it is inaccurate or no longer necessary.
You are always welcome to contact us if you have questions about our processing of personal data.
